A short trip to enjoy the monsoon…

Finally monsoon is started… heavy rain fall, greenery and cool breeze…  it’s hard to sit inside closed cabin. And if you are a biker it’s become more and more difficult. 

Long working hours, rain and reaching office dry are the things which make me away from my love my bike, and it’s making me irritated. 

So finally I brake all this and take my love for a long ride, after my night shift and tiring hours at office, today morning when I reach back to home, I went to my room and gear up for a long ride, bit exhausted but the excitement of long drive give me power to switch on my bike and hit the road, it’s was drizzling softly and it’s right time to get into highways, so I took my bike to highway, and headed towards baroda, it’s 80 kms from my city, and as I reach highway open road and rain drops, wind striking my face from my helmet vents, make me to speed up a bit, I was at 40kmph and then I give a bit of throttle and then roaring sound of engine make me speed up a bit more, I touch 100 Kmph in no time, leaving behind all trees, then few bike and huge trucks it’s time for cars, I speed up more and reach to 125 Kmph. But the slippery road makes me stick with this speed and didn’t allow me to increase the throttle any more… 

It time to enjoy the breeze and nature, just lost with roaring engine and long open road I didn’t notice and found that I miss baroda turn and almost few kms ahead, so from next divider I took a U-turn, and hit the road again to my way back, and after a long about 190 kms ride I come back to my home, freshen like a new born baby, and full of energy, I reached home around 3 PM then I had my lunch and get into daily work…

Polo Forest ... A group ride with Ahmedabad Bikers Club...

On 16^th I got information that my ceeber will be delivered by next week. So I planned to by some safety gears and went to Ahmedabad, there I meet 2 members of XBhp.com and we went together for shopping and I brought my gears, there I come to know there is a planned road trip organized by Ahmedabad Bikers club… so I find it interesting and I get ready to join them since I didn’t have the bike so I plan to join Ayaz Mansuri ( Member of XBHP.com) as Pelion rider, after finalizing the next they trip he just drop me in hotel and leave to meet me in morning for ride…

So the final day arriver… 17^th July 2011

I wake up around 3:30am coz meeting point is too far and we have to reach there around 5:00am, due to excitement I’m not able to sleep and I wake up before my alarm… I get ready and when Ayaz came we left for meeting point… 

Around 4:30 we reach there and meet Sharad Alury ( XBHP.com  member) then he introduce us with other members and then introduction stuff started… we was 20 bikers and around 10 bikes, then we left for Polo forest it’s around 16 Kms from Ahmedabad near Himatnagar, 

We all are enthusiastic towards this ride and well went to Gas Station to fill up the tanks and then we left for final destination…

Cool breeze and wet weather make this ride awesome, as we are group ridding we follow the instruction and everyone is riding with same speed…

After completing around 100 Kms we stop for refreshment and we come to know that the place we are heading for don’t have and restaurants so  we decided to have our breakfast and lunch together at this point, so there we stop for around 45 min.

Then we start again and reach to the final destination…

As some said there is end of every good thing, we have to leave the place and start our ride way back to home… it’s was sad but we have a batter part left it’s a ride or 160 kms… hehoo… so we all start our ride back to Ahmedabad…

Last stop while returning and then we all go our ways...
 

Finally we return back... it's was a good ride and we all enjoyed and hope for more rides....
